Lithium cells, stored energy & backup power — stocked in the US

Your power project needs cells this quarter, not next year.

The batteries are never the exciting part of the project, right up until they are the reason it slips. A quote that arrives in millimeters. A lead time nobody will put in writing. A datasheet that reads like it was translated for someone else.

Vision has manufactured batteries since 1994 and ships to 100+ countries. We now hold US inventory in Missouri and Dallas, answer specification questions from this side of the ocean, and publish our numbers in the units you design in.

Thirty minutes with an applications engineer, not a salesperson. Reply within one business day.

Sound familiar?

Nobody loses a project on the battery. They lose it on everything the battery decision drags behind it.

  • The quote came back in millimeters and kilograms and now somebody on your team is doing rack-unit arithmetic in a spreadsheet.
  • You asked for cycle life and got the word “long.” You need a curve at your depth of discharge and your ambient temperature.
  • The datasheet has a Shenzhen address, a machine-translated heading, and no revision date. You cannot put that in a submittal package.
  • The cell supplier and the system integrator are different companies, so the cycle-life warranty has a seam in it — and the seam is on your side.
  • Nobody will commit to a lead time in writing, so your schedule is built on a verbal.
  • Your AHJ is going to ask for a listing by name, and you do not yet know whether the answer is yes.

How this goes

Three steps, and the first one is not a sales call.

  1. 01

Describe the load, not the part number

Voltage, duty cycle, runtime, ambient, footprint, and what the installation has to survive. If you already have a part number in mind, bring it — we will tell you whether it is the right one.

  2. 02

We send the math and the documents

Sizing in your units, the discharge and cycle-life curves for the specific model, and the certification status as it stands today for that model and revision. Where something is missing, it will say so.

  3. 03

Confirm the commercial route before you schedule

Stock position, lead time, landed cost, and territory coverage — in writing, before it becomes a dependency in your project plan.

The objections, answered

You have reservations about buying batteries from a Chinese manufacturer. Here they are, and here are our answers.

Not deflections. If the honest answer is unflattering, it is printed below anyway, because you will find it out regardless and the only question is whether you hear it from us first.

I have never heard of Vision Battery.

In the United States, that is fair. Vision has manufactured batteries since 1994, is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange: 002733, ships to 100+ countries, and operates 5 production bases — and almost none of that has been said to an American audience in language an American engineer would use. The recognition gap is real. The track record is not the thing that is missing.

Chinese suppliers do not understand how we specify equipment.

Read our published spec tables and you will find millimeters and kilograms, no rack units, no inches, and no pounds. That is a fair criticism and we are fixing it rather than arguing with it. Every table on this site carries both unit systems, and where a published height straddles a rack unit we say so instead of rounding in our favor.

Lead time and tariffs make this unpredictable.

Both are real and neither is something we can promise away. What we can do is quote the current landed reality for your part number and your quarter, tell you which items are on the floor in Lancaster today, and tell you plainly when a schedule does not work. A supplier who confirms a date they cannot hold costs you more than one who declines.

I need someone I can call when the site is down at 2 a.m.

Our US operation answers at (417) 625-4842, Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00 Central, out of Joplin, Missouri, with warehousing in Lancaster, Texas. For after-hours field escalation, ask us during qualification what the coverage actually is and hold us to the answer. We would rather set the expectation than discover it during an outage.

Whose cells are actually inside?

Ours. Vision manufactures the cell and builds the system around it, which is the answer most integrators cannot give. When a warranty depends on cycle-life performance, it matters whether the company signing it also made the electrode.

Deployed, not projected

Every figure below comes from a project that is running.

China Mobile telecom base station power supply project

160,000 batteries

China Mobile, telecom power supply

Won on competitive public tender for a carrier serving roughly 1.0 billion mobile customers as of 30 June 2024. This is the volume reference for the telecom line.

50 MW / 100 MWh energy storage system for wind power integration

50 MW · 100 MWh

Hubei wind integration, China

Fifteen 3.35 MW / 6.7 MWh subsystems across roughly 25 acres, delivering more than 220,000 MWh a year. The largest storage deployment we can point at.

Malaysian data center UPS lithium battery deployment

Malaysia data center, 2025

REVO 2.5 Pro UPS lithium batteries across a four-phase expansion with the same client. Repeat purchase over four phases is the part worth reading.

Lead-acid strings installed in 2021 are reaching the end of their service life right now. Whatever is on your capital plan, you will be handling those cabinets this year — the only open question is whether you specify the replacement deliberately or under pressure.

Talk to an engineer

Tell us what the system has to do. We will tell you what fits.

Thirty minutes, an applications engineer rather than a salesperson, and a straight answer on availability for your territory. If we are not the right supplier for what you are building, we will say that too.

Questions

The things buyers ask before they ask about price.

What can I actually buy in the United States right now?

Telecom and remote-site 48V LFP systems, REVO UPS lithium systems, individual LFP cells for OEM and pack integration, and containerized energy storage. Data center is covered on this site as an engineering topic rather than a purchase path, because availability there varies by territory and we would rather explain the power problem than sell into a coverage gap.

Where does the product ship from and who supports it?

Our US operation runs out of Joplin, MO 64801 with warehousing at 3535 N Houston School Rd #200, Lancaster, TX 75134, inside the Dallas–Fort Worth metro. Support is US-side. Phone is (417) 625-4842, Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00 Central. Product availability varies by region, so confirm territory coverage before you specify.

Who is the manufacturer, precisely?

Shenzhen Center Power Tech Co., Ltd., trading as Vision Battery, founded in 1994 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange: 002733. That listing means audited financials and public filings, which is a materially different due-diligence position than a private trading company that resells someone else's cells.

Do you have UL listings?

It depends on the product line and the specific model, and we answer that per model rather than in general. The REVO 3.0 UPS system is UL 1973 certified and has been UL 9540A tested. Our containerized storage documentation currently publishes GB/T and IEC standards, not UL 9540. If you are taking a system to a US plan reviewer, ask us for the current certification status of the exact model and revision you intend to install, and if the answer is not yet, you will hear not yet.

Can you supply cells alone, without the system?

Yes. That is a normal way to work with us. Tell us the pack voltage, the discharge profile, and the mechanical envelope, and we will tell you which of the fourteen formats fits and which does not.

What happens after I fill in the form?

An applications engineer replies within one business day. Not a sequence of nurture emails before a human reads it. If it is urgent, call (417) 625-4842 instead — that reaches the same people.
