Most supplier websites hand you a filtered catalog and let you work out which of forty part numbers is yours. That is the buyer doing the engineer's job. Tell this what the system has to do and it will commit to an answer, show the arithmetic behind it, and name the things it does not know.
It is grounded in our published catalog and nothing else. It will not invent a specification to make a fit look better, and it will send you to a person the moment the question stops being technical.
The application
This is the input that most changes the answer. If the rack spec is already 800 VDC, say so.
What you get back
One recommendation, defended — not a filtered list to sort through. It names the product family, does the energy arithmetic against your load and runtime, tells you when a different line would be the better answer, and lists what an application engineer still has to pin down before any of it becomes a drawing.
It will not quote you a price or a lead time, and it will not tell you a model is listed when the certificate does not exist yet.

What it is actually doing
Three things a search box cannot do.
The useful part is not that it finds a page. It is that it takes a position and then shows you the reasoning, so you can tell whether the reasoning is wrong.

It picks the bus before it picks the product
Whether the distribution is 800 VDC, a conventional AC UPS, or 48 V plant decides the answer more than any other input. An 800 VDC rack and a UPS room are different products, not different sizes of the same one, and a catalog filter will happily show you both.

It does the energy arithmetic against your runtime
Load multiplied by runtime is the energy the application needs, and that is what gets compared to rated capacity. Five minutes at 500 kW and four hours at 500 kW are not the same problem — the first is a sidecar battery, the second is a container. The comparison is shown, not hidden.

It names what it does not know
Redundancy scheme, ambient extremes, footprint, the certification the plan reviewer will ask for by name. Those are not gaps in the tool, they are the actual content of the first engineering call, and it is more useful to see the list than to be given false confidence.

What this tool will and will not tell you.
Is this a search box?
No. A search box makes you already know the answer — you type a part number and it finds the page. This takes the application and commits to a recommendation, does the energy arithmetic against the load and runtime you gave it, and then argues for that choice. It will also tell you when a different line is the better answer, which a filtered catalog list cannot do.
Will it quote me a price or a lead time?
No, and that is deliberate rather than a limitation we are apologizing for. Price and lead time depend on quantity, configuration, landed duty, and the stock position in Lancaster on the day. A number generated on a web page would be a guess, and a guess in your budget is worse than no number at all. Those get committed in writing by a person.
Can it tell me whether a model is UL listed?
It will tell you which standard applies and why. It will not tell you that a specific model carries a specific listing, because certification status belongs to a model and a revision and is answered with a certificate, not with a sentence. Ask us for the document against the exact model you intend to install.
How does the voice input work?
The microphone button transcribes what you say into the notes field using your browser's own speech recognition, so you can describe a site while looking at a drawing instead of typing. The voice toggle reads the recommendation back to you. Both are optional — everything works typed and silent.
What happens to what I type here?
It is sent to our AI gateway to produce the recommendation on screen. It is not added to a mailing list and nobody calls you because you used the tool. If you want a person to look at it, use the consultation link at the end or call (417) 625-4842.
